В Visual Studio 2010 появились новые средства поддержки параллельного программирования. В частности, я хочу обсудить два новых окна отладки, Parallel Tasks и Parallel Stacks.

Для доступа к этим окнам нажмите F5 в Visual Studio, запустив отладку. Затем нажмите пункт меню “Debug”, выберите “Windows” и потом нажмите “Parallel Tasks” или “Parallel Stacks“.

Visual Studio 2010 Productivity Power Tools – набор расширений Visual Studio Professional (и выше), позволяющий повысить эффективность разработки. Краткий обзор продукта взят из этого блога.

Microsoft сегодня (8 июня 2010-го года) выпустил Visual Studio 2010 Pro Power Tools, в котором появилось множество вкладок с дополнительными опциями.

В Visual Studio 2010 можно вставлять в код веб-ссылки, которые можно будет нажать, как это сделано в MS Word.

Такие “кликабельные” ссылки поддерживаются как в объявлениях строк, так и в комментариях.

В Visual Studio 2010 появилась возможность построения графика зависимостей (Dependency Graph) для просмотра полной структуры класса и дерева вызовов.

В процессе изучения графика можно воспользоваться дополнительными видами просмотра, такими как “Справа-налево” (Right to Left).

Клик кнопкой мыши на любом объекте графика открывает соответствующий участок кода.

Этот инструмент действительно помогает лучше понять код.

В Visual Studio 2010 появился прекрасный инструмент – Architecture Explorer, предназначенный для просмотра структуры объектов. В отличие от браузера объектов (Object Browser) или диаграммы классов (Class Diagram) Architecture Explorer позволяет увидеть еще и обращения к элементу,  имеющиеся в проекте.

Еще один дополнительный шаг к усовершенствованию.

Теперь в Visual Studio 2010 можно получить все доступные расширения с web-страницы Visual Studio Gallery и добавить их к проекту непосредственно из IDE.

Менеджер расширений доступен из меню “Инструменты” (Tools > Extension Manager).

В менеджере расширений имеются функции добавления, поиска и изменения имеющихся расширений.

В Visual Studio 2010 при отладке можно добавить свои комментарии к подсказкам в коде (DataTips) и позже внести необходимые изменения.

В отличие от обычных комментариев, такая функция позволяет быстрее перейти к необходимому месту в коде.

В Visual Studio 2010 усовершенствовано окно создания нового проекта (Create New Project).

Кроме возможности просмотра групп шаблонов добавлены функции сортировки и поиска.
